3. SYLLABUS
The Graduation Project is an optional part of the study program and is recorded in the appendix of the degree with 6 ECTS and will be exempted from an 8th Semester orientation course. It contributes to the assessment of the overall grade of the degree and the courses required to obtain it. Information regarding the thesis issues for the students is formed by the Secretariat, which posts the topics after consultation with the lecturers. Students selected their topics in collaboration with the corresponding with lectures. The title of optional thesis is formulated after its preparation, in consultation with the supervisor. Then, the three-member examination committees are appointed, consisting of the supervisor and two other lectures. After an oral presentation, the examination board completes a form with information about the presentation, examination and grading. This form is sent to the Department and is also the first page of the Graduation Project. It is noted that the student is required to declare in writing to the supervisor if he accepts the writing of the grade on the first page of the Graduation Project. Graduation Project is prepared under the responsibility of the student, with the constant monitoring of the supervisor. The preparation time with the new Supervising Professor starts from the date of approval of the request at the Department Assembly and lasts at least 13 weeks. The total duration of preparation is estimated at five (5) months of continuous and exclusive dedication. The evaluation criteria include understanding and depth of the topic, difficulty of the topic, achievement of the predetermined objectives, originality, possibility of bibliographic research, development of initiatives, diligence, and presentation of the Graduation Project. The weighting factors are determined according to the nature of the topic during the judgment of the examining committee. Committee members also provide an evaluation of the students response to the criteria. |
