Graduates of Business Administration Department, School of Economic Sciences, having acquired a scientific and technical background during their four-year university studies, are eligible to work in the private and public sector as:

  • Administrative or managerial staff in companies and organisations in various economic sectors
  • Management consultants to local and international businesses
  • Administrative and financial executives in banks, insurance and financial organisations and companies
  • Executives in administrative bodies of the wider public sector, public organisations and services
  • Members of administration and economy research groups
  • Analysts of production systems, processes, and production management
  • Financial management analysts
  • Teachers in secondary and vocational education

Regarding employment in the public sector, graduates can:

  • participate in pan-Hellenic written exams conducted by ASEP (Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection) for Business Administration graduates or graduates of Schools of Economic Sciences in general
  • be employed as staff (Administrative – Accounting Staff) holding a degree from Schools of Economic Sciences in the wider public sector, and in Legal Entities of Public Law, such as Public Enterprises, Public Organisations as well as Local Authorities Organisations
  • start up their own business or work in trade or manufacturing

Finally, graduates wishing to pursue an academic career may continue their studies at Master’s or PhD level. The Department runs a Master’s degree Programme, “Master in Business Administration – MBA in Management Information Systems”. Additionally, it participates in the following Postgraduate Programmes: “Green Leadership, Organisational Culture and Sustainable Innovative Entrepreneurship” and ” Petroleum Oil and Gas Management and Transportation – MSc MOGMAT”.
