Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is for the students to be able to participate in the process of planning and managing projects, and have a sufficient knowledge of the relevant concepts and methodologies. Students will be able to:
1. Understand the basic characteristics of a project as well as the phases of project management.
2. Understand project organization methodology, task analysis structure and project change management and deliverables.
3. Understand scheduling, resource management and project costing techniques.

General Competences

Project management is a key function of modern businesses and organizations. This course aims to present basic principles, methods and techniques related to the organization, planning, control and evaluation of projects and programs. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
• Understand the basic principles of project management, project selection and evaluation methods, time planning techniques and methods, cost-duration analysis, optimal allocation and smoothing of a projects resources, and methods of controlling a project project.
• Evaluate projects and programs.
